Update 11/10/04
Just a quick thank you to everyone who attended the UMA
Press Launch Party at Club Rouge on Thursday 7th October
It was a great night with over 15 Live PA’S, including Kano and Carl Hinds.
The Best Unsigned Act was bursting with top notch talent, and was definitely a
very close contest. The UMA team had its very own “mystery crowd judges”
who were in the crowd assessing the performers for Stage presence, Vocal
Talent, marketability, and of course crowd reaction.
Of the 15 that performed only 6 will go on to compete for the title of the UMA
Best Unsigned Act” at the Barbican on the 9th November.
The 6 winners of the Best Unsigned Act heats will be announced on Friday 15th
October on our website.
